I am very pleased to have two works from my Reconstruction series in the Summerfair Select show.

The twelve artists featured in this exhibition are recipients of Summerfair Cincinnati’s longest running award program, the Aid to Individual Artists (AIA) Awards. Summerfair Annually gives these financial awards to four artists living within a forty mile radius of Cincinnati.

Summerfair Cincinnati, one of the oldest continuous art fairs in the country, continues its 50th-anniversary celebration in 2017 with their Triennial event Summerfair Select: An Exhibition of Aid to Individual Artists (AIA) winners 2014-2016.

The AIA Award is the area’s first program designed to distribute funds to individual artists. The $3,000 award can be used to fund research, assist in the creation of new works or for the purchase of supplies and material for production.

The triennial exhibition will be held at the Weston Art Gallery at the Aronoff Center for the Arts from April 8 through April 23.
